SUSU have awarded a grant to University of Southampton Clay Pigeon Shooting Club (SUCPSC) for the purchase of four new sporting shotguns. Running for three years, SUCPSC is one of our newer sports clubs and we hope the new equipment will help their club continue to grow.

What is clay pigeon shooting?

Established in 2017, SUCPSC is a society for anyone interested in clay pigeon shooting. No gun, licence or previous experience is required. They shoot every two weeks at one of many local grounds with socials in-between.

VP Sports Olivia Reed had this to say:

“Clay pigeon shooting is in its third year of existence and we’re really excited by how it’s developing as a society. We were delighted to support them as they entered BUCS for the first time as well as helping them expand their range of equipment for sporting purposes. We have over 90 sports clubs at SUSU, check out some of our free sports taster sessions this week or contact a club throughout the year if you’re interested in getting involved!”
