As part of Culture Festival, and in their first ever annual Sports Day, Singapore Society managed to raise £290 through a prize draw for the British Red Cross in Bangladesh, with the head of the Hampshire Branch attending the event to accept the money.

The event included games such as captain’s ball and dodgeball, with these being picked for their inclusiveness. MSA came out on top of the scoring after four hours of play.

This event was a collaboration between Malaysian Student Association, Japanese Society, Filipino Society, Singapore Society, Indonesian Society and ABACUS, as well as representatives from Vietnam who came to spectate and participate in the event.

The event was sponsored by SUSU, Ding Tea, Unikebab, University of Southampton International Office, Dodgeball Club and Cantell School, all of whom were vital to the event being held and the money being raised.
