Netball Club Fundraises Over £4,000 for NHS Charities Together
Southampton University Netball Club (SUNC) have raised an amazing £4,460 for NHS Charities Together by running and cycling over 1700km in 7 days!
55 members of SUNC took part in the fundraising challenge from Monday 13 to Sunday 19 April, covering a total of 1846km in running and 146km in cycling.
The total raised stands at £4,460 as of 28 April, but it’s increasing all the time and has far exceeded their original goal of £2,500!
On their Facebook post announcing their success, the club said: “A massive thank you to all the girls who participated in this amazing event and an even bigger thank you to all you generous people who donated to such a worthy cause. It’s not too late to donate, if you’re impressed with our efforts then all donations are welcome no matter how big or small.”
