Every year Southampton RAG choose three core charities (one local, one national, one international) to receive fundraising from core RAG events. Student suggestions for charities have been narrowed down to a shortlist, and now it’s time to vote on who you think should be a core charity this year.

Have your say and vote on the shortlisted charities here: Charity Nominations Shortlist 2020.

The shortlisted charities are:

International Charity
A21 – their mission is to end slavery everywhere, forever
Friends of the Earth – environmental charity
Gavi – help provide vaccines to millions of children worldwide

National Charity
Teenage Cancer Trust
BEAT – the UK’s eating disorder charity
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY)

Local Charity
Challengers – provide inclusive pay and leisure for disabled children and young adults
Robbie’s Rehab – provide specialist medical professionals to help children with brain tumours, based at Southampton General Hospital
Headway Southampton – support, advice and rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries

Voting closes on Thursday 04 June at 16:00.
