Many of you have been getting to know all the clubs and societies on offer at uni through our Meet and Greets, Big Online Fair and taster sessions. Socials have been attended, friends have been made and new hobbies have been discovered. But, you might not have had the chance to come along, or maybe you weren’t sure what you wanted to go to.

Never fear, because you can still join clubs and societies!

Head over to susu.org/opportunities to find all of our clubs and societies. With over 300 to choose from ranging from basketball to cricket, quidditch to philosophy, musical theatre to swimming and so much more, there is bound to be something for you!

If you are a new student, make the most of this time to join clubs, meet new people and settle into uni! Returning students, maybe you are nervous to join a society or club when you aren’t a fresher? Loads of second, third and fourth year students join new societies and clubs every year, taking on committee roles and meeting new people, so it really is never too late to get involved!

Just because Welcome is over, doesn’t mean you can’t find something you love at uni, so make sure to take every opportunity you can to get involved.
