Our fortnightly Laughter Lounge show welcomes Tom Deacon, Elliot Steel and Gareth Richards to tonight’s line-up.

You may recognise Tom from Tuesday’s Christmas Light Switch-On, where he was joined by his Capital FM co-presenter Emma Real-Davies to turn on the lights across the Union and Highfield campus. The former BBC Radio 1 presenter and Southampton-born comedian started touring as a comedian in 2009 after winning the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year in 2008.

Tryouts for the hit TV BBC quiz show University Challenge are taking place in the next few weeks, giving you the opportunity to be part of the team that will represent Southampton.

The current team are trying to better previous results and are currently attempting to make a way through to the final, after losing their first round match they are among the highest scoring losers and so can still progress to win.
