Need to repair your bike on campus? The Students’ Union is here to get you back on the road.
The Union now offers bike pumps, tools and flat repair kits to all students.
You can now pop along to the Union reception in building 42 if you need to get your bike back in shape.

If you are a cycling fanatic, but your bike isn’t running as smoothly as you would like, come along to the Redbrick Area outside Building 42 to have a check-up with the Bike Doctor.

You may remember a couple of weeks ago, we asked you to complete the University’s 2016 Student Travel Survey. This is a survey which asks you about your travel habits to find out how they have changed compared to 2013.
The results are used to inform the University’s Travel Plan, which will look at ways in which the University can be more sustainable. For example, last year there were over 5 million journeys on Uni-link buses and our Bike Doctor Service repaired more than 1,000 staff and student bikes.

Cycling has become an increasingly popular way of getting across campus. It’s free, good exercise and you’re looking after the environment at the same time! To help you out and encourage you to keep on cycling safely, Road Cycling Club (SURC) has been busy raising over £8,000 to fund public bike maintenance stands for you to use across the University.
