Brand New 44-Seat Bus for WSA Students!

In General

We are delighted to announce that a brand new 44-seat bus will be replacing the smaller WSA shuttle bus from Monday 18 September.

Following the success of the WSA shuttle bus, and our ongoing lobbying with the University, the University have introduced a larger, more regular bus, that will allow more WSA students to travel between our Highfield and Winchester campuses. This is something which many of you have asked for, so we’re extremely pleased that it has been put into action. The larger bus will enable more WSA students to make the most out of everything we have to … Read the rest

As you know, we recently overhauled our brand to become Union Southampton – so what better time to give our Safety Buses a makeover too?!

All five of our new buses are 15 seaters and are blue in colour to match the WSA Shuttle Bus.  They are all equipped with … Read the rest

University Travel Plan – Last week to complete it

In General

You may remember a couple of weeks ago, we asked you to complete the University’s 2016 Student Travel Survey. This is a survey which asks you about your travel habits to find out how they have changed compared to 2013.

The results are used to inform the University’s Travel Plan, which will look at ways in which the University can be more sustainable. For example, last year there were over 5 million journeys on Uni-link buses and our Bike Doctor Service repaired more than 1,000 staff and student bikes.

The survey is open until midnight on 18th March, … Read the rest
