Easter is almost upon us and that can only mean one thing: chocolate and lots of it!

And for the postgraduate students staying in Southampton over the holidays, you’ll be pleased to hear you can still get your sugar fix at our weekly Coffee and Cake events which will be continuing to run throughout the Easter break.

Easter Opening Times

In General

We bet you can’t wait for the Easter break – 2016 seems to be flying by and it isn’t long to go now.

The break starts from Sunday 20 March 2016 and will last until Sunday 17 April 2016.

 

SUSU opening times:

University opening times:

The University will be open throughout the break apart from the Easter weekend – 25-28 March, followed by the closure days on Tuesday and Wednesday, 29-30 March 2016.

Cake Decorating Society to appear on Great British Bake Off – An Extra Slice TONIGHT AT 9PM ON BBC TWO

You may remember our recent post announcing the news that our very own Cake Decorating Society is set to appear on BBC Two spin-off show, The Great British Bake Off – An Extra Slice! Well, we can now announce that the society will appear on the show TONIGHT AT 9PM.

The show, hosted by Jo Brand, is now in its second series. It usually reveals behind the scenes footage and interviews with celebrity guests, as well as showcasing the culinary masterpieces that the audience have baked and viewers have sent in.
