Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is fast approaching on Wednesday 17 May and we are looking for your ideas to discuss on the day.
It can be about absolutely anything you would like to change about our Union – from practical to plain wacky, we’ve heard it all and we’ve made a number of changes as a result. For example, we made Susu the cat Honorary President as a result of a suggestion from a student at AGM and we’ve included more vegan options in our Union outlets too.
You can submit a suggestion for discussion online before Monday 08 … Read the rest

University Road will be closed between 19:00-06:00 on 07, 08 and 09 December.
The area between the pelican crossings in front of the crescent will be affected, but the safety bus will still be running.
If you are at uni or attending the Christmas Ball or Karaoke, you can catch the safety bus in the coach bay where the WSA shuttle bus stops (next to the Interchange area).
If you have any queries about this, please don’t hesitate to tweet us @Union_Soton… Read the rest

Students were able to vote online at www.susu.org/change to make decisions during the AGM and the whole meeting was live streamed by our very own SUSUtv, which meant that you could have your … Read the rest

What is the NSS?
If you’re a third year student, you probably can’t go anywhere without seeing or hearing about the National Student Survey, or NSS.

The survey will soon be entering its next stage and contacting students by telephone, so if you haven’t yet taken the survey and want to avoid getting hassled, make sure you head over to the National Student Survey 2016… Read the rest
