Performing Arts set to hit new stages in Edinburgh this summer

SUSU’s Performing Arts societies usually aim to take up a couple of shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year – whilst a lot of work and preparation is involved, the chance to be a part of the Fringe is a fantastic opportunity for all students involved.

 

This summer, there will be a record of three shows starring SUSU PA students hitting the Fringe. Theatre Group are taking up an exciting duo of dramas under the name of Gone Rogue: Stephen Belber’s Tape, a hard-hitting show with cast of three, and the ever-popular The Importance of Being EarnestRead the rest

EVAs nominees shortlist revealed

The shortlist for the Excellence in Volunteering Awards (EVAs) has been revealed, following the submission of over 300 nominations.

 

The EVAs aim to celebrate student achievement and dedication as volunteers within the Union. The names of all of the nominees were announced earlier this month, and these have now been whittled down to a shortlist for each of the seven categories. The full shortlist can be found below:
