There is a new phishing scam which is targeting students via email.
If you receive an email claiming that you have won an education grant from the Department of Education, please do not click on any links or submit any of your details.
If you, or anyone you know, have been affected by this fraud or any other scam, report it to Action Fraud by calling 0300 123 2040 or visiting www.actionfraud.police.uk.

Today is University Mental Health Day. This is a national day to raise awareness of mental health in students and to offer support and information for those going through a mental health problem. 1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year.
Look out for the SU elephant, affectionately known as Trunky, which will be in a different part of the SU every month to raise awareness of mental health as part of the ‘Elephant in the Room’ campaign.
