Enjoy world-class press opportunities with The Edge

In General

Our very own entertainment magazine The Edge, attended press conference for The Light Between Oceans with Director Derek Cianfrance and Hollywood A-listers, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander.
The conference, held at Claridges, was organised prior to the European premiere of the film in central London to discuss the film’s themes, genre and performance.
Editor of the student-run magazine and University of Southampton BA Film and English student, Anneka Honeyball, attended the film’s press conference. What are Halls Committees?

Every Halls of residence at University of Southampton (including private rented) has their own Halls Committee (formerly known as JCRs), to ensure that students are given the support they need in their first year.

What roles can I run for?

Academic Rep Voting starts tomorrow

For the last couple of weeks, students have been busy nominating candidates (or themselves) for the Academic Rep elections. Your VP Education, Shruti, has been making announcements via her Facebook profile and event, there has been lots of flyering and we have even had a helping paw from Susu the cat to encourage students to get involved and nominate themselves to make positive change.
