We caught up with Zach Rowland, President of newly affiliated society Engineers Without Borders, to find out more about the charity’s work and how you can get involved.
What is Engineers Without Borders?
Engineers Without Borders is a UK charity dedicated to facilitating human development through engineering. This aim is achieved by providing engineering expertise to partner charities, and encouraging better consideration of global responsibility in education. We have had an overwhelming response with the Brand Review survey. Over 2,000 of you have told us what you think about the SUSU brand. Today is the final day of the survey, so if you haven’t filled it out yet, make sure you do! Your views on this are vital. Our brand is about how you as our audience see, talk about and experience the Students’ Union.
Results are now in for the WSA Academic Reps Elections, with a record number of nominations having been received. More than double the amount of students put themselves forward for positions compared to last year’s elections, which is great news!
