Children’s Halloween Party

In General

Gather up your little ones and take them down to The Diner (B42), Highfield campus for a spooky afternoon of fun and games at our Halloween-themed Party on  Saturday 29 October between 15:00-17:00.

You can relax and meet other student parents, while your children have the chance to get creative with pumpkin designing.

Enjoy free refreshments to keep you going!

Society Spotlight: Engineers Without Borders

We caught up with Zach Rowland, President of newly affiliated society Engineers Without Borders, to find out more about the charity’s work and how you can get involved.

What is Engineers Without Borders?

Engineers Without Borders is a UK charity dedicated to facilitating human development through engineering. This aim is achieved by providing engineering expertise to partner charities, and encouraging better consideration of global responsibility in education. There is a national HQ in London that manages all international placements for professional engineers (amongst other programmes), whilst also providing support for student branches in the form of training and logistics advice.… Read the rest

WSA Academic Reps Elections: Results now in!

Results are now in for the WSA Academic Reps Elections, with a record number of nominations having been received. More than double the amount of students put themselves forward for positions compared to last year’s elections, which is great news!
