Staff from our Learning and Development team have been invited to present their successful launch of the Union’s ‘A To B’ Project Management programme to the Charity Learning Consortium (CLC) at their annual national conference.
The conference, which will be held on Thursday 22 June in London, will host non-profit organisations from across the UK to network and share best practice.
CLC approached the Union to ask if our Learning and Development team could present a section of the conference to explain how they used the software to engage with staff on the course.

What is Engineers Without Borders?
Engineers Without Borders is a UK charity dedicated to facilitating human development through engineering. This aim is achieved by providing engineering expertise to partner charities, and encouraging better consideration of global responsibility in education. Budding student entrepreneurs who are looking to create a new business or develop the latest tech innovation are invited to Startup Weekend Southampton at the University of Southampton from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 May.
The student-led event will enable technical and non-technical entrepreneurs to collaborate on new projects and create a business idea within 54 hours.

We have been awarded The Pearson Best Event Award for Promoting and Learning Environment by the Campaign for Learning. This award was given after SUSU partook in Learning at Work week 2014. The week represents a chance for staff members of organisations that take part in the week to learn new skills. The course itself is not prescribed, but rather encourages employers to make sessions and workshops available in skill areas they feel would benefit staff most.
