Update on Upcoming SUSU Events

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we have made the decision to cancel all of our upcoming large-scale events taking place this Summer term

This includes AU Ball, WSA Ball, Academic Awards, Society & Volunteering Awards and Grad Ball.  We are sorry for any disappointment caused but this is the most suitable course of action at this time.

Those of you who have already bought tickets for WSA Ball and Grad Ball will be refunded automatically (you won’t need to worry about contacting us) in due course.

We can’t wait to transform the Students’ Union into a glamorous night you’ll never forget, with themed decor, acts, entertainment and plenty of photo opportunities.


Standard Tickets will go on sale Monday 09 March from susu.org/boxoffice. Last year tickets for Grad Ball were completely sold out in just 3 days, so make sure to get yours before they go!

Your Grad Ball, Your Choice

If you’re in the final year of your studies, get ready to celebrate your University years in style at Grad Ball 2020! This year it will be held on Saturday 06 June at the Students’ Union (get the date in your diary!).

This is your Grad Ball, your choice, and we’ve already started asking final years what you want to enjoy at the Ball. Over 67% of those who took part in the first survey voted for ‘Themes’ rather than ‘Acts’.
