Here at Southampton, we have 11 Halls of Residence, and 12 Halls Committees (to make sure all of you in private accommodation are represented), all situated near lots of local amenities to give you a memorable first year. Check out this handy fact file for whichever hall you’re in!

Archers Road

• Archers is a small halls, situated on, you guessed it, Archers Road, just outside the city centre, so getting into town is very easy.
• Rooms are self-catered and en suite, and undergraduates can be placed in either Romero or Gately blocks.
• These halls are renowned for how friendly everyone

If you’re a Pre-Sessional student, or you’re staying in Southampton this summer, we have plenty of free events that you can get involved in. Here’s what’s you can look forward to this week.

Tuesday 02 August – Trip to Sprinkles

• 19.00-21.00
• Meet at Highfield Interchange (the main bus stop on campus) and we will walk to Sprinkles together.

Indulge in a sweet treat at one of Southampton’s finest ice cream and waffle parlours.

Wednesday 03 August – Badminton and Basketball

• 17:00 – 20:00
• Meet us at Avenue Campus and we will walk to Richard Taunton College Sports Hall together.

As promised in our last rebrand update, the Facebook event announcing the launch of the new brand is up and the big reveal is just around the corner!

We want to make sure that as many of you are involved in seeing the new brand as possible, so we have arranged to have launches at both Southampton and Winchester – make sure you get down to one of them for what promises to be a great and no doubt, emosh day!
