Hindu Society performed at the Battle of Bollywood dance competition at Hammersmith Apollo, London in March.
A group of eighteen students made up the energetic team, who battled it out against 23 other Universities at the competition last month, following three months of rehearsals.
The society are calling for students to ‘like’ their performance video on the Battle of Bollywood competition Facebook page before the 21 April, as they compete to receive the most ‘likes’ to gain an automatic place at the 2018 finals.

We are proud to announce that Feminist Society are hosting Hampshire Reclaim the Night this Saturday 26 November, between 19:30-20:30 at East Park Terrace to raise awareness of women’s rights and to protest against the targeting of gender based violence and street harrassment.
The protest will begin and end in Southampton city centre, with the march going through the St Mary’s area, London Road and Bedford Place to end with a loop of Guildhall Square. Get together with your friends and housemates to wave banners and show your support.

This Sunday 28 August sees the return of Southampton Pride, the city’s biggest celebration of LGBT+ equality.
Celebrations will commence on West Marlands Road (outside the Stage Door) from 11:00 on Sunday, with live music from midday. The party is set to continue through the evening at the official after party at The Edge & Box Bar.
The Community Parade will leave the Stage Door at 15:00, heading around Guildhall Square and down Above Bar Street to the Bargate.
