After student consultation, The Cafe will re-open as ‘The Plant Pot’, a vegan and vegetarian cafe with a zero-waste shop, in the new academic year.
Work is currently underway to transform the current space ready for it’s re-opening in September, where it will serve a brand new, all vegan and vegetarian menu.

In response to student feedback, The Cafe will now be open later during The Shop’s reduced opening hours over the Summer period.
The Cafe will now be open for business between 16:00 and 19:00 for students to buy sandwiches, snacks, drinks and more. Hot food won’t be served however, this can still be purchased from either The Bridge or The Stag’s.
This is a trial running until 17 July to determine if there is enough demand to keep it open permanently. You can find the Cafe on level 3 of the SUSU building (Building 42).

We recently approved some new capital funding awards to the Photographic Society, Water Polo Club and Sub-Aqua Club. This means they have some exciting new equipment coming their way which will help to improve … Read the rest
