Join us for a Q&A with Activist, speaker and writer Gina Martin, who is best known for founding and running the national campaign to make upskirting illegal.

Her campaign ultimately led to the passing into law of the Voyeurism (Offences) Act in April 2019 which would make upskirting a criminal offence in England and Wales. Three other countries have since followed suit.

Gina is also an ambassador for UN Women UK and advocates for regular people creating change in their communities.

Union Films and native have teamed up to bring you an exclusive native talks Q&A with Netflix Making a Murderer’s Jerry Buting!

Jerry Buting, defence attorney for the murder conviction case of Steven Avery – now known worldwide as the real-life protagonist of Netflix cult series hit Making a Murderer, will be coming to The Cube (B42) on Wednesday January 29 (16:30-18:00*).

The conversation will involve moderated discussion of the Steven Avery case along with its broader implications and comments on the systematic failures of the criminal justice system.
