Surge Radio are embarking on their annual 48 hour broadcasting marathon on Thursday to raise money for Comic Relief.
The marathon, which will be broadcast live outside the Union building on the Redbrick, is due to start at midnight on Thursday, ending 48 hours later at 00:00 on Saturday 25 March.
The 40 strong team of volunteers aim to raise £480 for Comic Relief in association with RAG (Raise and Give) society through a series of competitions, on-air challenges, and games.

Our local NHS team are bringing their health roadshow to campus on Friday.
The team will be on the Redbrick in their Health Bus between 10:00-14:00 on the Redbrick.
They will be available to offer their top tips for staying healthy as a University student and give you an opportunity to chat with them about your experience of using local health services.
There is no need to book an appointment – simply turn up and climb aboard to chat to one of the friendly staff.

It’s the third day of our Spring Elections and what a week it has been so far! We’ve heard from the candidates as they spoke to SUSUtv about their manifestos on the Concourse at our Meet the Candidates events, we’ve toured the University campuses with our crew armed with iPads getting votes and we’ve even enjoyed some pancakes as we welcomed a company onto the Redbrick to serve up some of our favourite seasonal tasty treats yesterday.
