October’s Black History Month Events

This year we have lots of events planned to commemorate Black History Month, .

Black History Month is a time to recognise and celebrate the important contributions that people of African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean heritage make to humanity – raising awareness of different cultures and communities, and our events aim to highlight these contributions.

Union Films Present: Jurassic World

In General

Here at the Students’ Union, we’re lucky enough to have tonnes of amazing facilities and societies, including our very own on-site cinema, Union Films. Run entirely by student volunteers, it is the best place to relax and enjoy the latest cinematic releases at a bargain price.

One of this summer’s biggest blockbusters, Jurassic World, will be taking to our very own silver screen this weekend. The fourth instalment in the Jurassic Park series, the film broke records on its opening weekend and received rave reviews.
