As you may have heard, Facebook is changing its news feed algorithm. This means we will see some changes in the next few months as it begins to prioritise certain content over others.
From letting you know about exciting upcoming events, campaigns and more, our Facebook page is the best way to stay in the loop with everything happening on our campuses, and about all the opportunities we have for you to get involved in.

This Sunday 28 August sees the return of Southampton Pride, the city’s biggest celebration of LGBT+ equality.
Celebrations will commence on West Marlands Road (outside the Stage Door) from 11:00 on Sunday, with live music from midday. The party is set to continue through the evening at the official after party at The Edge & Box Bar.
The Community Parade will leave the Stage Door at 15:00, heading around Guildhall Square and down Above Bar Street to the Bargate.

Do you really know what our Full-Time Officers are doing day-to-day? To help you gain an insight into what our Officers get up to while you’re in lectures, they’ve launched their very own Twitter accounts. Ask them for progress on projects at the click of a button and get a chance to snoop into the world of University meetings and events planning, as it happens.
Our recent rebrand is now in full swing and you may have noticed new signage popping up all over our buildings. In addition, our transition to the new brand across our social media channels is almost complete, and this Friday (17 June) we’ll be fully moving over across to our new Facebook pages. Below is a quick reminder of our new pages and where you can access the information that matters to you. Make sure you get liking before we make the big move this Friday.
Our transition to Union Southampton is now in full swing and, as part of this, we now have all-new Facebook pages in line with our new brand. Our existing ‘SUSU’ Facebook pages will be remaining live until Friday 17 June.

Your Winchester Campus President for this year (2015-16) has been Ryan Notman-Watt. Ryan will continue in the position until the end of this academic year alongside Bex Willis, who will be learning the ropes to take over the position officially for 2016-17.
We are currently working on a Communications Strategy to review the way we communicate both internally within SUSU and externally to you. This involves looking at how we use our social media channels and emails to keep you informed. But, as a student-led organisation, we want to give you the chance to let us know what you think. We continually work to find new ways to improve our services to you in Winchester, so you can access opportunities that will make your student experience at University. For the first time ever this year, we have created a Winchester Student Committee, which includes roles for elected students to take ownership of the Union and to give you the chance to work with us to make the changes you want to see.
