Just wanted to catch you all up on what’s been happening at the Students’ Union lately.
Intercampus Travel: We’re pleased to confirm that if you’re an interdisciplinary PGR in FNES, FEE or Medicine who travels regularly between University campuses you should now be able to arrange with your graduate school to reclaim your bus fares if they exceed £100 a year. This has been agreed with the Doctoral College and should mean that PGRs in this position should no longer be left significantly out of pocket for what is a research expense.

What is Engineers Without Borders?
Engineers Without Borders is a UK charity dedicated to facilitating human development through engineering. This aim is achieved by providing engineering expertise to partner charities, and encouraging better consideration of global responsibility in education. Cyber bullying is any sort of bullying which takes place online. This could be through social networking sites (such as Facebook), messaging apps or gaming sites. In a recent national bullying survey taken by Bullying UK, 56% of young adults said that had witnessed other people being bullied online, with 42% saying they felt unsafe online.
