If you hadn’t heard, the General Elections are well and truly upon us, and today is the day you get to vote for the next parliament. Wandering down to your local polling station will only take about 20 minutes, and it’s your chance to change history.
The General Elections are what determines the next Parliament in the House of Commons, and run alongside the local elections, which will determine the councilors in your local council. The majority party or parties in Parliament will go on to form a government.
