The WSA Weekend Shuttle is back for a trial in October due to popular demand. This means you can travel to and from Winchester and Southampton on Saturdays and Sundays for FREE.
The WSA Weekend Shuttle will seat 4 students on each trip and will be running every Saturday and Sunday from the weekend of 3/4 October until the weekend of 31 October/1 November.
As part of the Erasmus scheme, Southampton welcomes students from all over the world into its community, and many of our students get the opportunity to travel, learn and grow as part of the scheme. The annual walk sees Mind Society and the Hillwalking Club come together with volunteers to walk all the way to Winchester from Southampton dressed in their best Christmas attire. This year proceeds from the walk will be going to both Solent Mind, the Southampton branch of the mental health charity Mind and No Limits, a charity offering free and confidential information, advice, counselling, support and advocacy for young people.

Be Santa for the homeless this year by sending a Christmas shoebox to those in need through our Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
This Christmas we are working in partnership with Homed, one of our societies which supports homeless people living in Southampton, and Two Saints, a Southampton-based charity which supports the homeless and vulnerable. In this season of goodwill and gift-giving, we are giving back to the local community by preparing small boxes of essentials and gifts which would mean a great deal to those in need.
We are delighted to announce that a brand new 44-seat bus will be replacing the smaller WSA shuttle bus from Monday 18 September.
Following the success of the WSA shuttle bus, and our ongoing lobbying with the University, the University have introduced a larger, more regular bus, that will allow more WSA students to travel between our Highfield and Winchester campuses.
