Cyber-Bullying: What it is and how you can be supported

What is it?

Cyber bullying is any sort of bullying which takes place online. This could be through social networking sites (such as Facebook), messaging apps or gaming sites. In a recent national bullying survey taken by Bullying UK, 56% of young adults said that had witnessed other people being bullied online, with 42% saying they felt unsafe online.

Examples of Cyber Bullying:

So 2016 has been all about looking forward to the next academic year what with the Spring Elections, Committee Elections and Awards Ceremonies, so a week of relaxation at The Stag’s might just be in order!

Brand Review: An Update

It’s a very exciting time here at your Students’ Union as we enter the next phase of our Brand Review. It all started with an initial Brand Review Survey which received a staggering total of 2,562 responses. This was followed by six Brand Workshops (3 for students, 3 for staff) which got participants thinking about what the ‘SUSU’ brand means to them and the changes they would like to see going forward.

We’re always hearing about how great the Southampton University Tennis Club is, so we interviewed the club’s Sponsorship Officer, Jack Harvey, to find out what all the racquet is about and why it’s so ace to be a member!
