Glen Eyre says Farewell to their 2017-18 residents

Glen Eyre held The Big Summer Farewell on Friday afternoon, and what an afternoon it turned out to be! With free ice-cream and burgers, inflatables, competitive games, live music and a photo booth, there was plenty to make our way around. Best of all, the sun decided to join the party, encouraging everyone to embrace the start of summer. Despite the large amount of students who have already headed home for the holidays, there was a great turnout and wonderful atmosphere. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills whilst working with a student-led charity organisation to represent our members and make positive changes to student life. WSA End of Term BBQ Decoration Making

In General

Fancy a break from work on Tuesday?

Members of our Marketing and Communications team are heading over to WSA between 11:00-14:00 as part of our fortnightly visits to the Winchester campus in order to host a decoration-making stall for the End of Term BBQ.

Last year, we made pom poms out of tissue paper to hang in the trees outside the WSA Cafe, which we have to say, looked pretty effective!

WSA Summer Ball: Date and Theme Announced

We are delighted to announce that the WSA Summer Ball 2017 will be held on Friday 05 May.

The theme will be ‘Moulin Rouge’, as chosen by students in our recent survey.

Tickets will be available to buy from Monday 06 March from the Union Box Office at www.unionsouthampton.org/boxoffice.

Last year’s event was a huge success, with over 150 students from Winchester School of Art attending the Great Gatsby themed night at Winchester Guildhall.
