The Students’ Union recently donated old Freshers’ t-shirts to the charity Farm4Life, who have distributed them across various projects in Liberia.
These projects include a school for the blind, the Liberian Disability Centre, the Bob Bates Academy Liberia and the Farm4Life office in Liberia.
Farm4life is an international charity committed to empowering individuals, and organisations, to help communities flourish. They have sent aid and/or run projects in Ghana, Ukraine, Gambia, Madagascar, Uganda and many more countries around the world.
In January, we partnered with Farm4Life, an international charity that aims to create a better life for people in Ghana. The charity runs a host of different community projects in Ghananian towns and communities, including Sportz4all, an initiative to enable disabled children and others, in deprived areas, to participate in sports activities.
We donated hundreds of our campaign branded t-shirts to Farm4Life for them to use as sports team bibs as part of Sportz4all, which runs a project teaching blind cricket to the visually impaired.

After the success of the Halloween BNO, which saw 5,000 of you tear up the streets of Southampton to party the night away, we decided to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style with a suitably great (and green!) night to remember. You can expect LOADS of free Guinness giveaways, live bands and plenty of Irish charm!
