Southampton alumna and Liberal Democrat Peer nominee, Claire Tyler, will be visiting the University for a Distinguished Lecture on Thursday 22 June.
Claire graduated in Law and Politics at the University and has gone on to sit in the House of Lords as Baroness Tyler of Enfield.
The talk promises to be an interesting evening, with topics including wellbeing and Brexit to be discussed.
All students are welcome to come along to the talk, which will be held in Building 58 Room 1067, Highfield campus.

You may remember our Union President Alex Hovden’s excited post earlier this month to announce a new series of high-profile speaker events coming soon. “My message to all students is please register [to vote] by the 07 June. That is the date, because otherwise older people will be deciding your future for you on the 23 June. You’ve got to register by the 07 June. It’s your decision. It’s your life. You’re going to have a big long future. The opportunities in Europe are there for you.
