Breaking Up For Summer

In General

Summer is here, which means that a lot of students have gone home and suddenly Southampton feels very empty.

Although it will be tough, with the nightlife at home not matching up to the Jesters standard, constantly having to explain that very funny story to your friends at home, who just do not find it funny, and loving family members who quickly irritate you, fear not, as soon enough it will be Freshers Week and you’ll be reunited with your housemates and friends.

Making the most of the summer break is different for everyone, with some people preferring a few … Read the rest

But SUSUtv have only gone and done it again! Fresh of the back of them hitting 200,000 views on YouTube, their coverage of the SUSU Elections … Read the rest

10 questions with: VP Democracy and Creative Industries, Megan Downing

In General

1. Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?

… blowing in the wind, wanting to start again? I can’t say I do actually. Plastic bags have no direction or drive in life; they’re just useful for dumping all of your stuff in. I wouldn’t consider myself in any way, shape or form, like a plastic bag.

2. What animal would you be happy to never encounter?

One of those weird fish that live in the deep depths of the ocean. Like the one on Finding Nemo with the big teeth and little light bulb coming off its head. … Read the rest
