Tryouts for the hit TV BBC quiz show University Challenge are taking place in the next few weeks, giving you the opportunity to be part of the team that will represent Southampton.

The current team are trying to better previous results and are currently attempting to make a way through to the final, after losing their first round match they are among the highest scoring losers and so can still progress to win.

If you are watching and think that you can do a better job, then the tryout dates are as follows:

• Tuesday 27th at 13.00 in the SU

Southampton University brought 2013 to an end with a bang with another fantastic appearance on University Challenge. On 31 December, our alumni team beat Kings College London with a massive 80 point gap.
