This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills whilst working with a student-led charity organisation to represent our members and make positive changes to student life. The roles are part-time, meaning they can fit alongside your studies nicely – they will help boost your CV, too! The positions we are looking to fill are:
RAG (Raise and Give) Society and Enactus Society raise an estimated £5,400 for charity during Jailbreak 2016, with one group of students travelling as far as The Gambia in under 36 hours with no money.
Jailbreak is a challenge where students aim to get as far away from the Students’ Union as possible in 36 hours using none of their own money in a bid to raise cash for charity.
26 teams made up of 63 students participated in this year’s event, each with a minimum fundraising target of £150 that students had to raise before departure last weekend.
Christmas is just around the corner and where students across Southampton and Winchester are penny pinching ready for the festive season, we are offering you the perfect opportunity to get yourself a whole new winter wardrobe. How?! – we hear you cry…our Swap Shop is back.
You can watch Planet Earth guilt-free as you save the environment while you shop!
Donate your unwanted clothes on Friday 25 September at 09:00 and then get shopping from 11:00 on the same day.
