How to balance work and your studies

January can be a stressful time for students, you may have University exams, portfolio deadlines, your thesis to write or you may be on placement. All this, coupled with the commitments of your job may feel a little overwhelming. WSA students – keep calm and colour!

In General

Exam season is looming and, as always, our Stress Less Fest will be running throughout January to offer you plenty of support and ways to cope with the pressure of deadlines.

This year has seen a massive rise in adults buying colouring books after it was proven they can reduce stress and help you to wind down – so now we are jumping on the bandwagon and creating our own colouring book especially for you!

Did You Know?

In General

1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year.

Look out for the SU elephant, affectionately known as Trunky, which will be in a different part of the SU every month to raise awareness of mental health as part of the ‘Elephant in the Room’ campaign.
