We’ve really embraced Christmas at the Union this year in a big way. Our very own student-led television station, SUSUtv, have been Highly Commended at this year’s NaSTA (National Student Television Association) Awards.

The team were recognised for Best Live coverage for this year’s SUSU Elections Night Live and Engineering student Will Garside was Highly Commended for Best Documentary Award for Radar – Britain’s Shield, about the history of the spitfire and its first flight from Southampton airport. Garside’s documentary has previously Best Direction award at the SUSUtv Student Film Festival.
