The Easter holidays are almost here! A full list of our opening times during the break can be found below – we’ll be having a rest at the weekends where we will be closed, but there are still plenty of opportunities to join us for some relaxation with friends during our weekly opening hours.

Chocs away for our Easter Giveaway Eggstravaganza

In General

Just when you were starting to feel bogged down in deadlines, it seems the Easter bunny came early.

We’ll be hopping over to the Union Redbrick on Thursday from 11:00 to lay out an edible eggstravaganza!

Eggspect a chocolate competition with a difference, as you get the chance to pick five delicious eggs from our clucky dip. If you get the golden egg, you will win a HUGE Lindt chocolate collection.

Dance the night away at the WSA Silent Disco

In General

We’re delighted to announce that we will be holding a Silent Disco at the WSA Cafe on Friday 10 February.

Join us from 20:30 for a chance to don your headphones and dance like no one’s watching.

Tickets are just £3 each available to buy very soon from www.unionsouthampton.org/boxoffice

You will be able to collect tickets from the WSA Cafe or from the Union Box Office in Highfield using your Student ID and proof of purchase.

Don’t forget to bring your Student ID and proof of age ID on the night to get entry.

Pop-Up Markets: Sell your stuff

Are you interested in starting your own business? Or perhaps you find yourself glued to Depop, Etsy or Ebay to sell your handcrafted items? We want to support you with your enterprising endeavours, so based on your feedback, we are offering you a chance to start a pop-up market at the Students’ Union at Highfield and WSA.

Athletic Union (AU) Ball – 29th April

Celebrate the achievements of the Athletic Union, including Team Southampton’s Varsity 2016 win with an end of year Ball held at the Ageas Bowl.  Tickets are due to go on sale from the Box Office on 22nd April.

WSA Opening Times

In General

If you’re staying in Winchester during the Easter break, here’s when we are open:

 

Shuttle Bus

The shuttle bus service is active during term times only, so the service will finish on Friday 18th March and resume as normal on Monday 18th April.

If you need to get to Highfield campus, you can find out details of the train and bus service on the University website here.

WSA Cafe

Open 08:00-16:00 from Monday 21st March-Sunday 17th April

The Union desk in the WSA Cafe

The reception desk will be closed from Friday 25th March-Friday 1st April

Christmas holiday opening times for the Students’ Union in Southampton and Winchester

In General

The holidays are approaching and you are about to embark on a well-deserved break. Like yourselves, we will be resting up ready for 2016. Here are the Christmas opening times at the Students’ Union between Monday 14th December-Wednesday 23rd December.

SUSU (including all outlets) is closed weekends from 11th December unless otherwise stated.

SUSU is closed on the 24th December and will reopen on the 4th January (normal opening times from 4th January)

The Union

SUSU Lettings

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

The Shop

Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
