With exams and coursework deadlines approaching, you will be pleased to find out that we will be running our campaign again this summer to help you to relax and remind you that while your university work is important, you are more than your studies and you deserve time to relax and re-energise between deadlines.

What do you make of the wifi around campus?

As students, you use the internet everyday to study, socialise, do banking and pay bills. That’s why you should have your say on the University’s iSolutions survey.

iSolutions are asking for student feedback on the wireless internet service, so they are able to make improvements as part of a bigger project over the next year.

The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and you can do it online here before Friday 07 April.

We are delighted to announce that tickets to this year’s WSA Summer Ball on Friday 05 May are now on sale on our Box Office at www.unionsouthampton.org/boxoffice.

Our annual summer party will be held at Winchester Guildhall at 20:30. The first 50 guests to arrive can enjoy a free glass of prosecco on arrival.

Electro-swing DJ, Jamie Berry, will provide the entertainment with a set to get you on the dancefloor with music from our very own Surge Radio DJs, who will keep you partying until the early hours.

Fancy a break from work on Tuesday?

Members of our Marketing and Communications team are heading over to WSA between 11:00-14:00 as part of our fortnightly visits to the Winchester campus in order to host a decoration-making stall for the End of Term BBQ.

Last year, we made pom poms out of tissue paper to hang in the trees outside the WSA Cafe, which we have to say, looked pretty effective!

We are delighted to announce that the WSA Summer Ball 2017 will be held on Friday 05 May.

The theme will be ‘Moulin Rouge’, as chosen by students in our recent survey.

Last year’s event was a huge success, with over 150 students from Winchester School of Art attending the Great Gatsby themed night at Winchester Guildhall.
