Housing is an ongoing student concern. You leave the comforts of being at home with a loving family and settle into halls, having every broken bulb fixed within seconds of you alerting the forever on call reception staff, heating fully inclusive and cleaners to tidy away the mess of the nights antics.
Moving from this situation to having to be entirely independent in a private rented house is absolutely frightening for a number of reasons that I am sure will be running through your head as you read this.

Housing Week this year runs between 31st of January and 4th February.

Housing Week has the answer to all of your tricky questions and prepares you to search for and find the perfect house for you. We can advise you about deposits, contracts, landlords, your rights and SO MUCH MORE. Staff from the University and the Students Union Advice and Information Centre are there to give you all of the advice that you need so make sure that you pop along to our stall for a quick chat during the week!
