Union concourse refurbishment begins! (main entrance moved)
On the 13th June, Union Council passed the Union concourse refurbishment project.
Today work begins.
Over the next three weeks the Union concourse will be transformed into a fresh and vibrant space. Changes include a new reception/box-office, bookable “pod” meeting areas, a cash point and a video wall.
As part of the work access to the front entrance and level 4 of the union is restricted until the 2nd September. Reception and entry/exit to the building is through SUSU Café entrance to the right of the building down a few steps. (There is plenty of signage to guide you, as demonstrated by Shane in the pic bellow)

Will The Bridge still be there next year? (I really hope it will be)
Is that space being refurbished, or just the entrance space?

Hi Laura, the bridge will still be there don’t worry!
Just the entrance space is being refurbished over the summer, however at the begining of the summer the bridge floor was revarnished!
