Roll up, roll up – more Grad Ball details!
As promised, here’s some more information about your Graduation Ball…
We’re really excited to confirm that the carnival is BACK by popular demand. Outside sees the return of the ever-popular funfair, complete with Dodgems and all sorts of other attractions, as well as hot food and drinks stalls.
Last year nearly half of the students we asked didn’t want the party to stop at 2am, so this year we’ve extended it to 4am to make sure you get the most memorable sign-off to your university life.
It’s gearing up to be a fantastic night. We’ve got 3 rooms of amazing acts and entertainment and we’re looking forward to revealing more details of who’ll be performing on the night and making this the greatest show on Earth.

Why is Sasha posting this blog and not Sam? Did Sam want to share out the blame and anger?

were all sharing responsibilities of revealing different bits each, just for variety – weve worked together on what were revealing when, so it doesnt really make a difference

Its also to spread out the answering of comments, so that we can reply to any questions/comments much quicker. With just myself it would be ‘likely that over the coming weeks the would be long gaps in when i have time to get online.
I will be posting a final blog once all the details have been announced with a summary of what will be at the Grad Ball, and how we’ve taking on board some of the feedback along the way.

Will we receive all the information regarding the event BEFORE tickets go on sale?
03/04/2012 at 12:35 pm Permalink
Yup, we’re releasing more information next week after Easter Sunday, then releasing details as best we can before they go on sale on the 18th

Do we have to pay for the food and drinks stalls and the rides or is that included in the ticket price?
03/04/2012 at 3:21 pm Permalink
I would also like to know this to… if its not included what exactly are we spending £44 for?

I believe you have to pay for food and drinks, the main rides are free (dodgems, the orbiter and the third one), but there will some smaller stalls that are charging on top of those
