End of an era!!! :-(
The end has finally come and today is my last day at work as VP Sports Development sabbatical officer at SUSU.
Thank you to everyone that has made my time working at SUSU so good. It’s been a pleasure to work for SUSU, the staff have been fantastic and the students I’ve worked with have been absolutely awesome.
I’m really sad to be going but my time has come to an end and I now officially hand over to my successor, Dean Jones. He is absolutely fantastic and I truly believe that he will do an amazing job.
I’m going to miss everyone and I’m going to miss Southampton.
Lots of sporting love (for the last time)
Jonny

Whatever happens now with sport in Southampton, you will go down as a fine VP who, in intervening in the Focus Sports case alone, made a bigger contribution to the health and wellbeing of our student athletes than anyone in a long time. Good luck for next year, not least in finding a gym…

Thanks David,
I really appreciate the comment. I’ve been working with the new sport team (something I didn’t do well with the team I had) and I really feel they are going to do great things next year.
Watch this space for the best year of sport Southampton has seen in 2012/13……. 🙂
