Success in SUSU!

After years of designs, various Sabbatical officers and student leaders campaigning….

Trophy cabinets are here!

They are not your average cupboard, but instead a way of publicly saying well done to all our student groups who win awards and deserve recognition!

These should hold trophies from a range of groups including Performing Arts, Sport (let’s win back that varsity trophy and put it pride of place!) and all our other excellent groups who deserve to be able to showcase their excellence.

We really look forward to filling these and seeing you all back on campus when term starts,

Lots of Love,

Evan and Claire

We’ve finally got them. I’m actually very impressed that this actually got done. They look pretty good too. They’ll look even better with trophies inside 🙂 I can’t wait to see it

Nice job! Good to feature them like that rather than a boring traditional cabinet!

Oh dear, that is truly hideous. Why does SUSU insist on re-branding the entire union to look like a cheesy 90s club? I thought it couldn’t get any worse when you put those garish white signs above all of the buildings, but you’ve done it again! Also, who thinks orange is a good colour for the toilets in the stags? This University needs some decent design students, or to pay someone else to do a half-decent job. Bapworth out.

I think this is great. I think you should show them next to some pictures of trophy cabinets at Oxbridge – they always look so old and stuffy, going for last century designs made out of wood. Who does that any more. We are so much more with it in design and looking great. Good job guys – Ikea couldn’t do better!

May I however suggest that we get some lava lamps and someone playing Huggy Bear next to it.
