There Are Problems With Your Course

Sorry for the sensationalism of the title!  But it is true, every course has problems.

You’ll know what problems there are better than anyone else. If you want to help be a part of the solution, helping fix these problems and ensure that your course is as good as it can be then you should run to be a Course Rep today.

As a Course Rep you will:

  • Listen to other students about the problems they’re having and help to fix those problems
  • Have regular meetings with senior academic and professional staff
  • Help make the University of Southampton better for thousands of other students
  • Learn and hone skills including leadership and negotiation*

Every course has space two Course Reps in each year, and we are specifically looking for first year reps in this election.

You have 3 days left to nominate yourself at susu.org/reps, with nominations closing this Saturday (the 19th) at 23:59.

Help lead change at the University of Southampton!

*absolutely not an exhaustive list!

There are several problems in our class, which is some Chinese students feel difficult in reading task. Most of us just graduated the undergraduate, we have to have awareness of change our role to be a teacher in a very shortly time. And also time management seems to be a very important issue. The last thing about our first assignment, chose an appropriate topic to be a very tough problem. Therefore we might need some kind of workshops to be a guidance that give us more information and advise.

    Thank you.
