Starter for 10! University Challenge Tryouts.

Do you have a brain for trivia? Know your Monet from your Manet? Do you know when Einstein wrote his theory of Special Relativity? Do you know the common name for the edible algae Porphyra?

If you don’t know what University Challenge is (and you all certainly should), it is the BBC’s elite trivia programme, pitting different Universities against one another. Every year SUSU run trials to select a new University Challenge team. Interested?

Our first round of tryouts to get on to next year’s team will be next week, at the Boardroom in Building 42 (the main SUSU building). This first round will be individual testing, with challenging questions from a range of subject areas.

We will be running these individual quizzes over two days, the 6th & 8th November. There will be a quiz at:
