Exam Season
The January exam season is now upon us and I know how stressful a time it can be!
Because of that SUSU is doing all we can to help give you the services and space you need to be able to work effectively:
It is no secret that the library is incredibly busy at this time of year and because of that we have turned meeting rooms into revision spaces every day of for the next three weeks.
Meeting Room 2:
- 8:00-17:00: 8th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th
- 8:00-18:00: 6th, 7th

Meeting Room 1:

- 13:00-22:00: 11th
- 8:00-21:00: 13th,
- 12:00-22:00: 14th
Meeting Room 3:
- 08:00-22:00: 16th, 21st
The following rooms in the Murray Building (58) will also be available as study space 9:00-21:00 from the 11th-24th: 1001, 1003, 1023, 1025, 1035, 1037, 1039
The library is open until 2am every day until the 24th, and so we will be extending the Safety Bus hours until 2 also – this means that you should never have to walk home in the dark if you decide to work late!
There are also spaces available at Glen, Connaught and Highfield to revise in, and to find out more, check out Oli’s blog here.
Brain Food
Over the exam period The Stag’s will be offering a number of shop products: sandwiches, salads, chocolates, plastic bottles of drink, stationery, notepads and more for you to buy at any point in the day. So if the queue is too big in the shop, or you’re working late you can stop by the Stag’s at any point (open until midnight every night other than Thursday where it’s open until 1) and restock on anything you might need.
Hopefully, these spaces and services will help you not to stress less during this exam season! We’ll also be hosting a number of events to help you to relax over the coming weeks also, and Beckie will be blogging about these later.
Remember that if you’ve any problems at all, you can always contact a Course Rep or Academic President.
Good luck in all your exams and for any assignments!
