You may remember we had planned to run this election online, with voting opening today, but the one candidate we had has now withdrawn, so we’ll be running it at Union Council instead.
If you want to run, you’ll need to come to the meeting of Union Council on Monday 8th December and give a quick speech (2 minutes) on why you think you should be elected. The meeting starts at 7pm, and is in the Senate Room in Building 37 (across University Road from the SUSU Building) – just follow the signs for “Union Council”.
If you can’t make the meeting, you can send a short manifesto (200 words maximum) which will be read out for you. If you have any questions about the election, please email democracy@susu.org.
The position will run from Monday 8th December to the end of the academic year.
